Dr Scott Beals, DO
Dr. Scott Beals is a board certified dermatologist who completed his dermatology specialty training at the University of Texas in 2002. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine in 1994, where he achieved academic honors, winning membership in Psi Sigma Alpha.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and member of numerous other professional organizations.
Dr. Scott Beals grew up in Jamestown, New York. He played collegiate baseball at the University of South Alabama then went on to sign and play with the Cincinnati Reds. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1986 with a degree in Biomedical Science. He practiced as a Physician Assistant in the United States Air Force for four years. Dr. Beals went on to complete a 15 year career with the United States Air Force, where he practiced as a family physician and director of multiple medical clinics. He now has over 15 years private practice at his clinic in Niceville, FL.
Dr. Beals and his family live in Niceville, Florida. They spend much of their free time on their horse and cattle ranch growing Angus cattle and training horses. He is an outdoor enthusiast whose hobbies include horseback riding, hunting, fishing and hiking.
